What to Expect When Visiting

We are delighted to have visitors in any of our services. We want you to feel like an honored guest. Here are a few common questions and answers about visiting Bible Baptist Church that will help you enjoy your first visit.

What should I wear?

This is probably the most common question. We want you to feel welcome. A specific attire is not required, and our members wear a variety of styles of clothing. We think it makes sense to wear nice, clean, modest clothing to church. As long as you do that you will not feel out of place.

Do you have a nursery?

Yes. Nursery is provided during all services for children under 3 years of age.

What are your services like?

Our services are what is commonly called a traditional service. The worship music primarily is great hymns of the faith as well as some choruses. We do have special music from members of the congregation on a weekly basis. The focus of all of our meetings is the Word of God. Generally, we will have several hymns, prayer, an offering, and then a message from the Bible.

Do visitors have to stand up and say anything?

No. We will give you a visitor’s card and ask you to drop it in the offering plate so we can have a record of your visit. The Pastor will acknowledge your attendance in order to allow our people the opportunity to give you a warm welcome.

How to get to Heaven from where you are

Realize That God Loves You

God loves you and has a plan for your life. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

The Bible Says That All Men Are Sinners

Our sins have separated us from God. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

God made man in His own image. He gave man the ability to choose right from wrong. We choose to sin. Our sins keep us from God.

Gods Word Also Says That Sin Must Be Paid For

“For the wages of sin is death…” Romans 6:23

Wages means payment. The payment of our sin is death and hell, separation from God forever. If we continue in our sin, we shall die without Christ and be without God forever.

The Good News Is That Christ Paid For Our Sins

All of our sins were laid on Christ on the cross. He paid our sin debt for us. The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross, and He arose from the dead. He is alive forevermore. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

We Must Personally Pray And Receive Christ By Faith

The Bible says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

Pray And Receive Christ As Your Savior

Lord, I know that I am a sinner. If I died today, I would not go to heaven. I now repent of my sin and trust entirely upon the finished work of Christ on Calvary and ask you to forgive my sin, come into my heart and life and be my Saviour. Help me live for you from this day forward. In Jesus Name, Amen.

New Life

Everlasting life begins when we receive Christ as our Savior. II Corinthians 5:17
